Rental car
When picking up the rental car, ask the rental company for a road map of Portugal. First check the car thoroughly: full tank, all car papers present (including the damage form!), no dents or scratches, etc. Notice any irregularities? Just walk back to the counter and ask them to point it out on the contract.
Drive slowly and don’t be rushed. If possible, notify us of your possible time of arrival at Casa Boavista (Mic 00351/967 684 772 or Pascale 00351/969 364 439).

When leaving the airport parking lot turn RIGHT, immediately keep the left lane towards CENTRO/CITY CENTER and enter the tunnel. After ± 300 m, at the large roundabout take the first exit “
After ± 1.3 km, take exit 5 “A8 Loures/Odivelas” (not 5 Entrecampos). At the traffic lights go straight ahead and keep following the road. On the highway of the A8, after 3 km. slow down at the toll gate. Press the button and take a ticket for the Portagem (toll road), never take the “VIA VERDE” (usually left lane indicated by a green V, costs 50 euros!!!).

Leave São Martinho do Porto LEFT at the roundabout and continue towards NAZARÉ where you will find a 2nd roundabout after ± 1 km (at the Intermarché supermarket), continue straight ahead until you come to a junction about 500 meters further on your left with the signs “Camping Colina do Sol” and “Serra dos Mangues”, turn left here (watch out for oncoming traffic), continue to the campsite and then turn RIGHT into Rua Vasco da Gama. Continue until you see a mini-mercado/cafe/restaurant (Tipica Da Serra) on the right, then just past this, take the first left (Rua Da Liberdade) up a steep road, keep right (Rua da Gralha) and then take the first right Rua da Boavista, then follow this until you see a path on the left between Casa Emilio and a house with a nameplate Boa Vista (sign with arrow left Casa Boavista) where Casa Boavista is at the end.
